The mission of the Steward United Methodist Church is
to worship God as a community of believers, to share
the good news of Jesus Christ, and to serve the local
and global communities all to the glory of God.

Steward United Methodist
Church is one of the 9 churches in the Hub Cluster.
Hub Cluster Churches are part of the DeKalb Prairie
South District in the Northern Illinois Conference of
the United Methodist Church. We strive to support each
churches' ministry and also join together for outreach
and mission projects.
United Women in
Faith
Steward United Women in Faith meet on the 4th Thursday
of each month, with exceptions at 7:00 p.m. seven months
out of the year- February, March, April, May, August,
September, October, and November with various programs.
We like to learn about and support various missions.
We have one big fund-raiser for the year with our turkey
supper in October. We share our joys and concerns and
love and support each other. We share different things
about ourselves each month, as well as have a special
treat made by our hostess, and a door prize.
We prepare funeral luncheons and serve them when needed.
We support our college scholarship fund and support
those who go on mission trips, camps and conferences.
We are proud to co-sponsor (along with 14 other area
churches) N.I.C.E. (Neighbors in Christ Ecumenical)
in Lee, IL, a food pantry that provides food for 30-50
area families per week, and also provides donated clothing
and household items. We also help support Rochelle Christian
Food Pantry.
